USAIR STARTS GERMAN FLIGHTS
USAir has started daily non-stop flights from Pittsburgh to Frankfurt,
Germany - its first service to continental Europe. The airline has been flying
from Charlotte to London for some time and it has expressed interest in flying
from Pittsburgh to London. In other overseas plans, the company recently
received authority for flights from Philadelphia to Paris, starting April 1,
1991, and it will join Alitalia in flights from Washington National Airport
and Philadelphia to Rome, by the Italian airline through Boston. - Staff
