FCS OFFERING A $5,000 BONUS

Franklin County Speedway promoter Whitey Taylor is offering a $5,000 bonus to any Ford driver who wins a Late Model Stock Car race at the Callaway track.

Bobby Radford, Rodney Cundiff, John Cox and Buddy Robertson are the four competitors who drive Fords at the track.

A victory in the 50-lap race tonight pays $1,500, so a Ford victory would be worth $6,500.

Along with tonight's LMSC feature, there will be a 35-lap event for the Street Stocks, as well as 25-lap races in the Six-Cylinder, Mini Stock, Rookie and Any Car divisions.

Gates open at noon. Practice starts at 5 p.m. Time trials are at 7 p.m., with the first race scheduled for 8 p.m.
