OBUIT-CHAPMAN, L.

\ PEARISBURG - Lawrence Chapman, age 63, died Friday evening at his sister's home. Born at Pembroke, Va., he was the son of the late Kemper and Maud Elizabeth Chapman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pembroke. Survivors include one brother, Deacon James E. Chapman of Pembroke; three sisters, Mabel Wilson, Pearisburg; Glenna Dickerson, Pearisburg; Rosa King, Pembroke; many friends and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Pembroke with the Rev. Fred Carper Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Horseshoe Cemetery in Pembroke. Friends may call at the church for visitation Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Williams-Jamison-Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke, is in charge of arrangements.
