\ BLAND - Mrs. Helen Nelson Sarver, age 71, died Saturday, June 16, 1990, in a Radford hospital. She was born March 30, 1919, at Marion, Va., the daughter of the late William Harrison Nelson and Lura Anderson Nelson. She is survived by two sons, James Henry Sarver, Jr., Augusta, Ga.; Lewis Douglas Sarver, Wytheville; one brother, Arthur Malin Nelson, Hartselle, Ala.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Elsie Goodman, Bishop; Mrs. Mae Kirk, Marion; Mrs. Betty Douglas, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Florence Riddle, Narrows; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. D. Clark officiating. Burial in the Shiloh Cemetery in Bland County. Visiting will be anytime Sunday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
