COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG ATTENDANCE DECREASES

Attendance was down 2.7 percent last year at Colonial Williamsburg, but revenues increased 6.7 percent, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation reported.

The revenue increase over 1988 comes despite record snow and rain that kept people away in 1989, according to the foundation's annual report released Friday.

Attendance was 1,170,000 in 1989, down from 1,201,325 in 1988, Colonial Williamsburg spokesman Jim Bradley said Saturday.
