\ Miss Shelby Jean Thompson, age 49, of 840 North Main St., died Sunday, June 17, 1990, in a Roanoke hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Virginia Thompson. Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Leo Lis, Rocky Mount; one niece, Jennifer Lis, Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted at the Arrington-Bussey chapel, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Curtis English officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence 840 North Main St., Rocky Mount. Arrangements by Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home.
