Directed by Dearl Kniskern, "6 Rms Riv Vu" is a comedy that runs from "very funny slapstick to verbally funny," Kniskern said.
The action takes place in a vacant apartment in New York. Two married-but-not-to-each-other people come to look at the apartment. The building super, not knowing they're there, removes the doorknob, leaving them stranded.
While stranded, Anne Miller and Paul Freidman talk, flirt, fall in love a little and make a date to meet at the apartment for an on-the-floor picnic. They end up having a one-night affair.
The cast includes Eric Wiedegreen as Paul Friedman, Nora Hansen as Anne Miller, Anna Dalton as the Woman in 4-A and Howard Buchholtz as the building super. Others in the cast are Barbara Simpson, Jeff McCoy, Dee Davidson and Dan Davidson.
"6 Rms Riv Vu" runs Thursday-Saturday at Blacksburg Presbyterian Church at Eakin and Church streets. Curtain is at 8 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and $2 for children under 12. For information or reservations, call 382-0159.
