Mr. William Cleaphas King, age 70, of Salem, died Tuesday, June 19, 1990. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Eathel King. He is survived by his father, Oakley Lee King, Salem; brothers and sisters, Robert Lee King, Roanoke; Rosa Payne, Tenn.; Agnus Hogge, Hayes, Va.; Grover King, Salem; Nannie Wynn, Salem; Dorothy Martin, Salem; Velma Stalnaker, Roanoke; Leroy King, Salem; Paul King, Blue Ridge; and Arlene Thompson, Floyd. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem with the Rev. John Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home.
