TAZEWELL COMPANY WINS MORE HONORS

Pyott-Boone Electronics of Tazewell has been selected by the Small Business Administration as mid-Atlantic regional subcontractor of the year for the second time.

The manufacturer of products and assemblies for defense companies and for the coal, grain and salt industries won the SBA regional award in 1984, as well as six awards of excellence in the past decade.

The company, headed by Nancye K. Howell, was recognized at a ceremony at its plant Friday. - Staff report
