Gene Autry, the former movie cowboy who owns the California Angels baseball team, rounded up a $1 million check from Wells Fargo Bank for the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum.

Tuesday's check presentation was held in conjunction with the unveiling of a "Stagecoach!" exhibit and the official naming of the museum's Wells Fargo Theater.
