DISGUSTING THINGS DONE TO THE PLANET

ARE THE THINGS we are doing to this planet of ours disgusting and even immoral? A couple are the Kim-Stan landfill, which thankfully closed, and the pollution we put into the air, which we might as well call poison.

I am glad that Oldsmobile came out with an electric car. I hope it will come on the market soon, so we will stop some contributions to the greenhouse effect. Recently I learned that in a couple hundred years the polar caps are going to melt and flood many coastal cities if we don't take care of the problem.

Another thing facing this planet is the decreasing protection from the ozone layer. Many companies have quit putting chlorofluorocarbons into aerosol products. I hope many more will follow suit.

If we only do a few things to help our environment, like recycling, especially with newspapers, we could make the Earth a great place for future generations!
