On his third tour of the United States, the teacher will be a guest of the valley's Satsang, what the sect calls its local group, which he will visit on the first evening.
On June 29, he will be at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 2015 Grandin Road S.W. and on July 2 at First Divine Science Church, 5000 Carriage Drive S.W. Both programs will be from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will include an hour of meditation led by the yogi, music and time for questions.
An overnight retreat in Botetourt County July 3 and 4 will conclude the teacher's stay.
The teacher, who is in the United States for several weeks visiting cities in the West as well as Raleigh, N.C., New York and Boston, will be interviewed on WFIR at 2 p.m. on June 29 and will be welcomed by Mayor Noel C. Taylor at the Jefferson Club at noon on July 2.
