LOVE IN ACTION will be the theme of vacation Bible school at downtown Roanoke's First Baptist Church. It will be Monday through Friday mornings from 9 to noon. The school is open to children born before Dec. 31, 1986, with the maximum age being completion of sixth grade. Call 344-6242 for more information.

\ THE NEW VIBRATIONS, a 16-member youth touring choir from Huntsville, Ala., will sing Sunday at 8 p.m. at Bedford Christian Church (Disciples of Christ.) The church is at 305 N. Bridge St.

\ BEDFORD BAPTIST CHURCH will install its new pastor, the Rev. Dr. Ron Blankenship, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. He and his wife and son have come from Richmond. A reception will be held after the service.
