IVANHOE PAIR FACE MAIL THEFT CHARGES

The Wythe County Sheriff's Office arrested an Ivanhoe man and woman Wednesday on charges of stealing mail from private boxes in the Ivanhoe Post Office.

Roger Timothy Davis, 29, and Sharon Marie Mitchell, 24, face charges of grand larceny and forgery.

Jeff Ratliff, an investigator with the sheriff's office, said the Dec. 29 theft involved a $463 check which was cashed with a forged signature at a county store.
