CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT SUNDAY

The Virginia Chamber Music Academy will present a concert for the public Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church.

Performing Mendelssohn's String Quartet, Op. 81, will be music academy my participants George Beter and John Hitchings on violins, Laura Ebert on viola, and Cathy Price on cello.

Schumann's Piano Quintet will be performed by Susan Katsarelis and Jin Zhang on violins, Theresa Conti on viola, Betsy Start on cello, and Jee Hyung Chung on piano.

Virginia Chamber Music Academy faculty members to be featured in this concert will be violinist Sharon Polifrone, cellist Ulrich Boeckheler and pianist Susan Starr.

They will perform Brahms' Piano Trio in B Major.

The concert is sponsored by the New River Valley Friends of the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra.

The admission charge for the performance will $6 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

Blacksburg Presbyterian Church is as the intersection of Eakin and Church streets.
