MONTGOMERY BOARD ON WEEKEND RETREAT

The Montgomery County School Board is taking a retreat today and Sunday at the Continuing Education Center of Virginia Tech.

At the retreat, to be facilitated by a Virginia School Board Association leader, the board will review a "board effectiveness inventory" that members recently took.

The inventory included questions about goals and how board members feel about each other, according to the board's clerk, Revonda Breeding.

The retreat's cost was estimated at $300, according to Breeding.
