BRISTOL, TENN. - William Edgar Kelly, age 60, of 117 Spanish Oak Road, Bristol, Tenn., died Friday, June 22, 1990, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Kelly was a native of Meadow View, Va. and had made his home in Bristol for the past 30 years. He was a 1952 graduate of Emory and Henry College and was a self-employed certified public accountant. Mr. Kelly was a member of State Street United Methodist Church and had served as a former president of the Appalachian Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also served as secretary and treasurer of Commonwealth Coal Company and was one of the organizers of Bristol's Fairview Little League. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maidie Vowell Kelly; one daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Ann (Becky) Kelly, Madison, Wis.; one son, William Edgar Kelly Jr., Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Margaret (Marge) Roberson, Radford, Va.; one brother, John D. Kelly, Abingdon, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at State Street United Methodist Church with Dr. James R. Green and the Rev. Rhonda Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family requests those desiring may make contributions to the Memorial Fund of Emory and Henry College or to State Street United Methodist Church.
