\ ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Ruth Law Hall, age 72, of Route 1, Rocky Mount, died Saturday, June 23, 1990, in a Roanoke hospital. She was born October 3, 1917, the daughter of the late Frances Victoria Law and the late William Thomas Law. Surviving are her husband, Carl R. Hall, Rocky Mount; two sons and daughters-in-law, Denver and Louise Hall, Alton and Peggy Hall; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Benny Reed, Nancy and Maitland Hale, Jeanette and Wayne Adkins, all of Rocky Mount; one sister, Pearl L. Adams, Rocky Mount; eight grandchildren, Beverly Garay, Teresa Nolen, Nathan Hale, Chris Hall, Jason Hall, all of Rocky Mount; Cindy Lynch, Glade Hill; Kim Johnson, Hardy; Arnie Adkins, Fairfax; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. Earl Harrelson and the Rev. Jeff Carico officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence of Jeanette and Wayne Adkins, 406 Oxford Circle, Rocky Mount. Arrington-Bussey Funeral home of Rocky Mount is in charge of arrangements.
