ROANOKE MAN HELD IN RAPE OF GIRL, 11

A 36-year-old Northwest Roanoke man was arrested Saturday and charged with raping an 11-year-old girl.

Robert Harris of the 800 block of Hunt Avenue is being held in the Roanoke City Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond, authorities said.
