\ Mrs. Edith Claytor Bradshaw, age 64, of Roanoke, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Bradshaw was an employee of Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She had served approximately 25 years on the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in Japan. She was an active member of Grandin Court Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons, Melvin Joel Bradshaw, Jr., Honolulu, Hawaii; Richard A. Bradshaw, Tokyo, Japan; Barry C. Bradshaw, Roanoke; Kenneth A. Bradshaw, Paducah, Ky.; a daughter, Joanne C. Boles, King, N.C.; a brother, William Claytor, Winchester; a sister, Mrs. Mary E. Spaur, Martinsburg, W. Va.; an aunt, Mrs. Charles (Annie) Soyars, Cascade, Va.; six grandchildren. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elevator Fund of Grandin Court Baptist Church. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Grandin Court Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert M. Hamner and Carol Harrington will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
