\ GREENEVILLE, TENN. - Mr. Conway Hopson, age 81, of Rt. 9, Greeneville, passed away at 10:32 p.m. Monday, June 25, 1990 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville, Tenn. He was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church, Greeneville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merriet and Stella Warrick Hopson; three sisters, Claudine Hopson, Ann Beals and Betty Anselmo; also three brothers, J. C. Hopson, Paul and Floyd Hopson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Geneva Fanning Hopson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Lee Hopson, Jacksonville, Fla.; Ronald and Georgia Hopson, Greene County, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and James Davis; Kathryn and Eddie Morelock, all of Greene County, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one brother, Roy Hopson, Erwin, Tenn.; two sisters, Coma Love, Erwin, Tenn.; Lee Keebler, Johnson City, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. The funeral is at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Kiser Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Gethsemane Cemetery, Greeneville, Tenn. Three ministers will officiate, Dr. Stephen Weisz, Rev. Melvin Shelton, Jr. and Rev. David Carr. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Kiser Funeral Home.
