\ CHRISTIANSBURG - Thelma Price Cox, age 55, died Monday, June 25, 1990, at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth M. Price. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Beanie C. and Marvin Howard, Christiansburg; her father, Herman J. Price, Blacksburg; two sisters, Ardella Cox and Ellie Spradlin, both of Christiansburg; one brother, Allen Price, Rogers, Va.; a special friend, Peyton Worrell, Christiansburg; two grandchildren; four nieces; four nephews; two great-nieces; five great-nephews; one great-great-niece. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 28, 11:00 a.m. at Bangor Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by the Rev. James T. Mills and the Rev. Larry Dale Snider. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg.
