\ ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Linnie Rakes McAlexander Hodges, age 91, of Route 2, died Tuesday, Junea 26, 1990, in the local hospital. Mrs. Hodges was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and was a retired practical nurse. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Buren and Ruby Hodges McAlexander, Smith Mountain Lake; a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Ovilla McAlexander Murden and Alton L. Murden, Yorktown; four grandchildren, Mitzi M. Noble, Winchester; Judy M. Donaldson, Yorktown, Patricia M. Hunt, Rocky Mount; Lynn M. Horsley, Yorktown; seven great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside Franklin Memorial Park 2:00 p.m. Friday with the Rev. T. Ivey Adams, Jr. officiating. The ;amily will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home.
