PAPER SHOWS WHAT IT THINKS OF VETERANS

ROBERT E. Kesler (letter June 16) was shocked and disappointed when he read his paper on June 6 and found nothing about D-Day.

On Dec. 8, 1988, I wrote the editor telling him that my letter should be addressed to the veterans of World War II, if all they got to remember about Pearl Harbor was a small piece in Section B.

Then on May 31, 1989, I wrote another letter to the editor telling him to remember June 6, 1944 - and they did.

So that's what they think of veterans. But they do give a lot of attention to Paxton Davis and that broad who wants to get into VMI.
