INDIAN EVANGELISTS TO APPEAR AT CHURCH

Vernon and Betty Klaudt, evangelical Christians of American Indian background, will be guests Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon at Penn Forest Church of God, 4429 Buck Mountain Road S.W.

The Klaudts are part of a family of singers and evangelists who now have their headquarters in Atlanta. They have appeared on national television often and have toured the United States. They also have been commended by former president Jimmy Carter.

The couple wear American Indian costume for their worship leadership. Vernon Klaudt, known as Chief Little Soldier among his people, is a singer and performs on several instruments. He also is a graduate of Candler School of Theology in Atlanta.
