\ Thomas Singleton Branch, Jr. of 1022 Gilmer Ave., N. W., died Thursday, June 28, in the VA Medical Center, Salem. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie Branch, Roanoke; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn G. Fitzgerald of Fort Washington, Md.; Mrs. Doretha St.Clair, Roanoke; Mrs. Mariam King of Oxon Hill, Md.; one son, Robert S. Branch of Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Evans, Jamaica Long Island, N. Y.; Mrs. Sallie Smythe of Albany, N. Y.; five grandchildren, James Earl Green, Ramona D. St.Clair, Roanoke; Carolyn Wade, Chauncey Wade, and Ralph O. King, Jr. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Maple Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul E. Johnson officiating. Burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday night at the Maple Street Baptist Church from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Arrangements by Fizer.
