POETRY CONTEST ENTRIES SOUGHT

Entries must be original, fewer than 60 lines in length and never published.

The limit is three poems per person. Ten winners will be chosen from within the New River Community College region - Floyd, Montgomery, Giles and Pulaski counties and the city of Radford.

One winner will be selected from poems submitted from outside the region.

Each winner will receive a plaque and a booklet of all of the poems submitted for the contest.

Send entries by July 31 to to Poetry, Continuing Education, New River Community College, P.O. Drawer 1127, Dublin, Va. 24084.

An awards reception for the poets and their families will be held Sept. 7.
