DEPUTY WOUNDED IN MONTGOMERY

A sheriff's deputy was shot and wounded today at a residence in this Montgomery County community.

Deputy Bob Fleet was shot in the neck, authorities said. He was taken to Radford Community Hospital. He was in good condition, the hospital said.

A suspect was taken into custody at the scene, but additional details were not available.
