FUN DAY SCHEDULED JULY 28 IN MCCOY

The 13th annual Fun Day is July 28 at McCoy Ballpark, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The parade's theme is "Nifty 90s" and the best float will be awarded a trophy. The parade lines up at 10 a.m. on Virginia 784 beside McCoy Auto Repair and ends at the ballpark.

Entertainment, games, antique cars, heirlooms, food, crafts and fire and rescue demonstrations and Civil War soldiers also are part of the activities. A pet show, a baby contest and Little Miss & Master Fun Day Contest also are planned.
