\ HARDY - Mrs. Ola Perdue Bobbitt, age 78, of Route 3, died Monday, July 9, 1990 in the local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Monroe Bobbitt; and a daughter, Mary Louise Bobbitt. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Clyde and Valera Bobbitt, Gilbert and Shirley Bobbitt, Junior Bobbitt, all of Hardy; four daughters and sons-in-law, Gracie and Willie Dillon, Hardy; Ruby and Bobby Rankins, Vinton; Betty and Kenneth Underwood, Roanoke; Nellie and Ed Mills, Hardy; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Perdue, Vinton; Okey Perdue, Moneta; two sisters, Frances Kirk, Blacksburg; and Goldie Perdue, Moneta. Funeral services will be conducted at the Arrington-Bussey Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Clayton Leonard and the Rev. Scott McLain, officiating. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
