POINDEXTER, POSIE L.\ Posie L. Poindexter, of 1632 Rugby Blvd., N.W., died Tuesday. He is survived by one brother, George Poindexter, Roanoke; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Reese, Mrs. Rachel Brown, Mrs. Alice Spurlock, all of Roanoke; Mrs. Sarah Wingfield, Franklin County; one aunt, Mrs. Edith Thomas, Franklin County; nieces; nephews; other relatives. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. Dr. J. Eugene Young will officiate with burial in the Byrd View Cemetery in Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
