BREAKFAST LIONS CLUB NAMES WOMAN OF YUEAR

Jean Broyles has been named Lion of the Year for 1989-90 by the Roanoke Valley Breakfast Lions Club.

Broyles received the award in recognition of her community service work. She has participated in the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission and Appalachian Service projects, taking vacation leave to build and repair homes for the needy in North Carolina and Puerto Rico.
