\ John M. "Big John" Campbell, Sr., age 58, of Route 2, Vinton, died Wednesday at his home. He was employed by the Vinton Weaving Company (PFG) for over 30 years, and was also employed by Blue Ridge Investigation. He was a member of Craig County Horseman's Association, the V.F.W., and the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife, Judy E. Campbell; a son, John M. Campbell, Jr., Route 1, Vinton; his mother, Lilly G. Campbell; a brother, Earl J. Campbell, both of Vinton; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 1990, with the Rev. Joe Spradlin officiating. Burial will be in the Mountainview Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
