NAVY HELICOPTERS BACK IN AIR AFTER ACCIDENT

The Navy has returned its 340 CH-46 helicopters back to service after grounding the craft for nearly two weeks after a fatal accident, the Navy said.

The Sea Knights were grounded July 1 when a defective shaft was discovered during an investigation of a CH-46 accident June 22 off the Virginia coast that killed four crewmen.
