YWCA TAKES NO STAND ON ABORTION

AN ARTICLE June 26 incorrectly stated the position of the YWCA of Roanoke Valley concerning the abortion issue.

The article said that representatives from our Association "appeared at the Planned Parenthood offices to express their displeasure with the ruling [Supreme Court decision upholding parental notification of minors seeking abortions] and to urge Virginia legislators to leave state law alone."
