OBIT-EDWARDS, M.

\ - Martha Stump Edwards, age 74, of Roanoke, died Friday in a local hospital. She was the widow of William P. Edwards and a life long member of Christ Episcopal Church. Surviving are a son and daughter in-law, Richard B. and Nancy M. Edwards of Salem; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine E. and Jackie (Pete) Boyd, Roanoke; six grandchildren; brother, Ed Stump, Richmond. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Deborah Hentz Hunley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's, Roanoke.
