SHOWTIMERS TO CELEBRATE WITH 40TH BIRTHDAY GALA

Showtimers will celebrate its 40th birthday with a gala Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m., Olin Hall, Roanoke College, Salem. A matinee performance will be given Saturday at 3 p.m.

The birthday gala will feature songs and scenes from 40 years of Showtimers productions. Many of the original actors and directors will return to repeat their starring roles. A champagne reception will follow the performance each night.
