\ MADISON HEIGHTS - M. Keith Overstreet, age 36, of Route 1, and formerly of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 1990, at his residence. He was born January 5, 1954, in Bedford County. A son of Mahlon T. Overstreet and Nadine Ashwell Overstreet. He was a Millwright and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to this mother and father, he is survived by a son, Eric C. Sammis, Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother, Travis Wayne Overstreet, Monroe; one nephew, Travis Wayne Overstreet II, Monroe. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 19, 1990, at 1:00 p.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, by the Rev. David Engleman. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
