SPROUSE ANNIVERSARY

Sprouse anniversary Harry G. and Sarah Kathleen Sprouse of Roanoke have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 20, 1940, in Wytheville.

Mr. Sprouse is a native of Wytheville. He retired from the circulation department of Roanoke Times & World-News.

Mrs. Sprouse is the former Sarah McCandless of Wytheville.

The couple have six children, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
