Lee Ander Shrewsbury, age 83, of Roanoke, died Tuesday. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lovdie G. Shrewsbury; three daughters, Hazel S. Boothe; Dora S. Woodie; Peggy S. Horton, all of Roanoke; seven sons, Shirley Shrewsbury, Largo, Fla.; Claude Shrewsbury, Canoga Park, Calif.; Calvin Shrewsbury and Benny Shrewsbury, both of Daleville; Damon Shrewsbury, Inverness, Fla.; Martin Shrewsbury, Blue Ridge; Gene Heiler, Roanoke; one sister, Ethel S. Griffith, Basin, W. Va.; twenty grandchildren, Sharon S. Downey; Regina B. Hinze; Michelle B. Kotheimer; Kim Shrewsbury; Lynette Horton; Linda Webb; Brenda Brett; Jennitt Shrewsbury; Wayne Shrewsbury; Bryan Shrewsbury; Jason Shrewsbury; Robert Shrewsbury and Matthew Shrewsbury; seven grandchildren serving as pallbearers, Everett Boothe, Alvin Boothe, Mark Shrewsbury, Clarke Shrewsbury, Scott Shrewsbury, Kenneth Woodie and Paul Horton; eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m Friday at Lotz Salem Chapel by the Rev. Carter Sloan with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
