DRIVING RANGE TO OPEN AT LAKE

Smith Mountain Driving Range, on Virginia 655 one mile from Virginia 122, is scheduled to open today at Smith Mountain lake.

Steve Jeffery, a fishing guide who has started the golfing project, said the 320-yard range will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., or until dark.
