HARDY - Mrs. Audrey C. Riffe, age 72, of Rt. 1, Hardy, died Thursday in a local hospital. Surviving are her husband, L.D. Riffe; two sons, Larry Riffe, Newport News; Roger Riffe, Hardy; two brothers; three sisters; four grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 1 with Rev. Marvin Lloyd officiating. Mrs. Riffe will be taken to Tacoma, Wash. on Saturday for funeral and burial.
