FERRUM - Laura E. Dean, age 86, died Thursday, January 31, 1991 at the home of her daughter, Rt. 2. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Elder Amos Hash; one granddaughter, Brenda Fariss of Clarksville; two grandsons, Philip Hash of Ferrum; Lane Hash, Sorrento, La.; four great-grandsons, three great-granddaughters; and two sisters-in-law in Lee County. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Lynch Chapel, Rocky Mount with Elder Hale Terry and Elder Clarence Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Pigg River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, after 2:00 p.m. Friday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
