Mrs. Inese Bertha Bobbitt, age 60, of Lambsburg, wife of Wayne Bobbitt, died Wednesday night at the Twin County Hospital in Galax. She was born November 26, 1922 in Carroll County, the daughter of Will and Eva Largen Berrier. Surviving are her husband, Wayne Bobbitt of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Dian Ramey of Winston-Salem, N.C.; three sons, A.J. Bobbitt of Lambsburg; Roby Bobbitt of Atlanta, Ga.; and Elwood Bobbitt of Woodlawn; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Carpenter, Mrs. Arlene Bryant and Mrs. Opalene Hill, all of Cana; three brothers, Bill Berrier, Richard Berrier and Clarence Berrier, all of Cana; one half sister, Mrs. Sarah Payne of Mount Airy, N.C.; and one half brother, Alex Berrier of Trenton, N.J. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church conducted by Elder Lester Faulkner. Burial will be in the Hawks Cemetery. Her body will remain at the Moody Funeral Home until carried to the church to lie in state 30 minutes before the service. The family will receive friends at the Moody Funeral Home Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
