OBIT-HILTON, L.

Lucille Williams Hilton, age 70, died Thursday morning at her home in Pembroke. A native of Pembroke she is the daughter of the late Chapman L. and Maude Lake Sarver Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis Hilton and a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Pembroke. Surviving are one son, Richard L. Hilton, Pembroke; one brother, Eugene Williams, Centreville, Va.; three sisters, Marie Rippeth, Richmond; Peggy Day and Mary Dowdy, both of Pembroke; a special friend, Dottie Meredith, Pembroke; and a special nephew, Jimmy Williams of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke, with the Rev. Eddie Kendall and the Rev. Lowell Stovall officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church.
