Curtis Wayne Linkous, age 52, died Friday, February 1, 1991, in Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. He was a navy veteran and was preceded in death by his father, Brady Linkous, Sr. and a sister, Charlotte R. Lorton. Survivors include his mother, Nina Linkous Hurst and stepfather, Curtis M. Hurst of Radford; brother and sister-in-law, Brady Jr. and Joanne Linkous of Hickory, N. C.; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Bob Gibbs, Christiansburg; brother-in-law, Bob Lorton, Radford; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 3, 2:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, Blacksburg. The Rev. Jimmie Lee Price will officiate. Interment will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
