Mrs. Augusta Taylor Srb, passed away Friday, February 1, 1991. She was born in Fremont, Neb., and served as the president and secretary of the Nebraska State Dental Assistant Association. In Roanoke, she worked with Dr. Moffett Bowman and later for Miller & Rhoads. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and belonged to the Electra Chapter No. 33 of the Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Frank J. Srb and is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Nancy Srb Lowry of San Antonio, Texas; her son, Mr. Robert F. Srb of Newark, Del.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Katherine Lowry; also surviving are her sister, Miss Nina Taylor of Roanoke; one aunt and uncle and several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. An Eastern Star service will be held 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Lotz Roanoke Chapel by the Order of Eastern Star Electa Chapter No. 33. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 4, 1991, with the Rev. John Cochran officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
