CAVE SPRING BOYS ANNIHILATE HERITAGE

Cave Spring unleashed its transition game in the second quarter and rolled to an 87-51 boys' basketball victory against Heritage in a non-district game Saturday night.

The Knights (7-7) led 68-18 after three periods as Heritage (2-11) went scoreless in a seven-minute period spanning the first and second quarters.

Jeremy Blackstock scored 19 points to pace the Knights, and Mike Fayed added 18. Kevin Keatts had a game-high 21 for Heritage.
