Mr. and Mrs. Drew Alexander of Richmond, formerly of Roanoke, and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Nelson of Brightwaters, New York, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Michelle Nelson to Stephen John Miko, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miko of Severna Park, Maryland. She was graduated from Northside High School and Radford University and is employed by American Cancer Society. Mr. Miko was graduated from Severna Park High School and Virginia Tech and is employed by IBM. They plan to be married August 17, 1991.
