CHRISTIANSBURG - Glenn P. Walters, age 83, of Peppers Ferry Road, died Sunday, February 3, 1991, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a longtime employee of Thompson-Hagan Drug. He had served for 30 years as a member of the Agriculture Soil Conservation Committee. Preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn A. Walters, he is survived by two double cousins, Mrs. Hester Martin and Mrs. Frances W. Mooers, both of Christiansburg, and several other cousins. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday from the graveside in Sunset Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Sidney Willis and the Rev. Richard H. Horne. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Monday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
